On Australia day and the following days our little town got hit with heavy rain, tornadoes and a flood. Many people were forced to leave their homes. We were one of the ‘lucky’ ones but emotionally I’m drained. Bundaberg is now in the process of cleaning up. I know people heard about what happened in Bundaberg but I thought I would share photos of what I saw. I only took a few photos of the flood and was not going to risk my life or anybody else’s.

We saw what happened and I never thought I would see something like we did, The helicopters above us every so minutes were heartbreaking, sitting there in my house thinking about the poor people who needed rescuing.

The first photo is not far from us and it has never flooded like this before, up further another part was flooded too.
The boat photos are I think are sitting on the sand are from the flooded river.

This is why I have not posted a weight loss update and the other posts I needed to do and reviews.

Once things get back to normal I will be getting on to doing the reviews and posts. Tomorrow I will doing a update on my weight.

Last week Daniel and I went out to our friend’s farm to help tidy up.

I would love to live out there.

Yesterday we decided to get the camera out and do some photos of us. We don’t have many photos as a family.

I love finding Daniel and Jasmine like this. They have a very special bond. When Daniels not home she plays up heaps but when he’s home she’s an angel.
